Lemcon USA Corporation was formed by American telecom, technology and other entrepreneurial veterans with a shared interest in the opportunities presented by the convergence of telecom and IT as well as asset ownership. Then, upon finding a traditional telecom services enterprise well positioned for greater and more innovative growth in this converging space, we acquired it. That company was Lemcon Networks. Lemcon Networks, then itself a division of the international construction conglomerate Lemminkainen Group out of Finland, oversaw some 30 offices globally. And with Lemminkainen exiting the telcom space to better focus on its core construction work, we organized the acquisition of the North American offices of Lemcon Networks from Lemminkainen.
Since this acquisition, Lemcon USA has expanded the company’s capabilities and service offerings. The firm continues to provide the North American managers and staff with: targeted business development assistance, project financing, enterprise management technology tools, strategic guidance and similar support on a 24/7/365 basis. The relationships and channel partnerships of the ownership group are injected into North American operations, with the assistance of those able and experienced regional managers (who in turn draw upon skills and experience derived from Tier-1 telco deployment and project work in over 40 countries).
Lemcon USA’s clients now include Tier-1 carriers, tower owners, OEMs, turf vendors, engineering firms, businesses, as well as various national and local governments. All of these customers rely on our staff and technical knowledge to deliver five-nines (99.999%) network availability.
